Why don't you offer discounted or children pricing?

Answer:

More often than not, it takes more time to service a child than it does to service an adult. Some times twice as long. For a stylist to do double the work for less than what she/he would charge an adult to be serviced, isn't beneficial to the stylist. This is nothing personal against your child, it's business.

Why you shouldn't lie to your stylist:

                                                                    Answer:

We ask you questions about your hair for a reason. When you are untruthful about the history of you hair you can potentially cause a serious chemical reaction. From medication all the way down to products you've used on your hair or any chemical services you've received, you need to be 100% truthful.

Why do stylist cringe when you say you've box colored your hair?

Answer:

Box color isn't formulated specifically for your hair. As a stylist we formulate a color based off of several different things that may or may not be going on with your hair. Box color can NOT guarantee you, you will achieve the desired color you seek. Box colors can also be extremely hard to remove or alter.

Why won't your stylist allow you to bring your own products?

Answer:

As a professional, Stylist purchase professional products to service you with. When you purchase from the grocery store or other Non professional stores, you may have purchased expired, or tampered with products. This is most important with chemically altering your hair.

Question: Why do some stylist ask you to reschedule if you show up late for your appointment?

Answer:

If you show up late and your stylists still services you, you have now made your stylist late for her next client who has shown up on-time. Depending on how late you show up, you could potentially cause your stylist to run late for every appointment after you. This is simply not fair to those who have shown up to their appointments on time.

Question: Why do some stylists charge a "no show" fee?

Answer:

For stylists, time is money. When you book an appointment and don't show up, you have cost that stylist money. That appointment slot could have been used to service another client. Not showing up also effects that stylists income. Remember, this is a profession and how stylists pay their bills.
